Good Clean Facts
Don’t just take our word for it. Our sanitation process is proven.
Associate Knowledge, Training, Health and Safety
Each hotel team member is educated on the essentials to an effective cleaning program. Ensuring a top-to-bottom commitment and understanding to 360 degree sanitation. Our hotels practice the most effective and proven health and safety standards.
This includes essentials such as:
-
Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent hand-washing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In our daily meetings we re-enforce that cleanliness starts with this simple act.
-
Ongoing Training: Stringent Housekeeping, Safety and Hygiene protocols are key topics in our ongoing training and education programs.
-
Social Distancing: To help alleviate the risk of contact transmission our hotels are maintaining social distancing protocols such as custom signage, removing and re-arranging furniture, adding partitions at the front desk, promoting mobile check-in and more.
-
Stay Home Policy: Any Associate who is not feeling well or exhibiting any symptoms is required to stay at home and self quarantine. Hotels are taking associates temperatures daily in an abundance of safety
-
Property Cleanliness Champion: Each property has a dedicated cleanliness champion to lead our focused commitment to cleanliness
Cleaning Products and Protocols
Our hotels use industrial sterilization products and proven cleaning protocols effective against viruses
-
Guest Rooms: Our hotels use enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items. We have 92 Electrostatic sprayers using the highest classifications of disinfectants that will be utilized in all of our PURESTAY Certified Hotels. We are also limiting associate room entry during stays enhancing protocols around services such as in-room dining and housekeeping.
-
Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys. This also includes increased availability of sanitizing wipe stations and hand sanitizer stations throughout our hotels.
-
Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” our hotels are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and staff offices.
American Hotel & Lodging Association Safe Stay Program
