CONCORD HOSPITALITY APPOINTS WILL LOUGHRAN CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Concord Hospitality, the award-winning hotel management and development company currently operating over 140 hotels across North America, announces the appointment of Will Loughran as its new Chief Operating Officer effective April 22. Loughran will report to Concord Hospitality President & Chief Executive Officer Mark Laport. He succeeds Nick Kellock, who will retire in May after more than 15 years of dedicated service with Concord Hospitality.

Loughran joins Concord Hospitality from Evolution Hospitality where he has served as President for the past few years having joined the company as Chief Operating Officer in 2015. With over 30 years of experience in the global hospitality industry, Loughran has a wealth of industry knowledge and has held executive roles at some of the most revered hospitality companies and hotel brands. Prior to his role at Evolution Hospitality, Loughran served as President at Richfield Hospitality where he oversaw hotel operations and supported their sister revenue management and reservations company, Sceptre Hospitality Resources. He also spent six years at Sage Hospitality Resources as Vice President Revenue Strategy, spearheading the Sage Sales and Revenue Summit and strategic planning. Loughran started his career at Marriott International where he held multiple leadership positions over his nearly two decades long tenure.
Loughran will ensure that all properties under Concord Hospitality management are operating efficiently and effectively, ensuring alignment of all parties’ mutual interests and goals, while simultaneously, working to develop and implement strategic plans for the brands growth and expansion. His expertise in international markets will also help Concord Hospitality to further expand their footprint particularly in Canada where the company already operates a number of highly successful hotels.

Loughran holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Colorado State and a Masters in Business Administration from A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Originally from Colorado, Will is a dedicated adventurer, spending his spare time biking, hiking and traveling with his family.
