Ben Haller
Ben Haller joined Concord Hospitality in late 2014. Ben has over 20 years of experience working in hotels from entry level positions all the way to General Manager roles, of which he has held for close to 10 years now in various locations. In his 20 years in the business Ben has worked in close to 40 different Hotels across the United States experiencing many different styles, brands and staffing endeavors allowing him to amass a vast knowledge of the hotel operation and a keen eye for streamlining labor and expenses. With experience in Acquisitions, Resorts, Airport Hotels, Suburban Hotels and Independent Golf Resort Conference Centers Ben has been able to apply much of that experience to help bring new life to Concord Hospitality’s largest managed asset the Marriott at the University of Dayton Hotel. He was at the helm of this hotel as it went through close to a $25M revitalization from top to bottom.
In his time with Concord Ben has joined many Advisory Councils to include our own General Managers Advisory Council, Internal Audit Advisory Council, and our Share Day Event Committee of which he has led the company for 4 years now with the Marriott at the University of Dayton’s Charitable giving efforts. In 2018 Ben was awarded the General Manager of the year award for Concord Hospitality with over 100 open hotels in the portfolio. Outside of the Companies Hotel efforts Ben serves on the Dayton Area Convention Visitors Executive Board as Vice Chair, Leads the Dayton Area Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association efforts and was awarded the Dayton Area General Manager of the year by OHLA for the 2018 Year.
Ben holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from The Ohio State University in Landscape Horticulture with a minor in Hospitality Management. In his free time Ben loves putting his hands on approach to work either restoring and rebuilding Ford cars, woodworking, and putting the Landscape Horticulture Degree to some good use by sprucing up the yard.
